Il titolo dell'opera non č dei pių promettenti ma dentro questo cd-r della Tibprod si cela nientemeno che il capo della label norvegese, Jan-M. Iversen in persona. Insieme a lui un collettivo di artisti sperimentatori dalle ampie vedute e un progetto di ancora pių ampio respiro che va sotto il nome di Origami Republika. Questo disco č solo una sfaccettatura del progetto Origami Republika, un'opera concettuale di suono dove Iversen elabora in maniere diverse un'unica registrazione di 20 minuti effettuata all'interno di un computer acceso ma che non fa nulla. Vengono fuori ben 12 tracce fatte di sibili, interferenze e frequenze che oscillano e che si rincorrono lungo l'orizzonte sonoro secondo flebili e quasi impercettibili pulsazioni ritmiche variamente dilatate. Un percorso impervio e avvincente attraverso una microelettronica rarefatta e cangiante che nasconde al suo interno tesori emozionali. Un viaggio nel vero senso del termine, peccato perdere il biglietto.

The name Origami plus something is used by many people, and you not
always know who these people are, but in this case, I think it's Tib
Prod chef Iversen who is behind the name Origami Minimalistika. One
day by accident he made this '20 minute internal recording of a
computer doing nothing' and then fiddled about with this recording
and created twelve, indeed hihly minimal pieces of music with it.
Things buzz, hiss, scratch and tick their way through an endless
string of computer plug ins. Sometimes it's minimal in a high end
drone manner, something it's quiet, and sometimes it's more
rhythmical. I think things work best when things are kept short. Then
it seems to make more sense. The seventh track, which consumes no
less than about half the discs space, is easily twenty minutes too
long. Otherwise it's a nice conceptual work.
